Hey there - I'm glad you stumbled upon this free-range, all-organic section of my website. Most of these artist sites have an "About Me" section, which I enjoy reading if they're available, so I've added one in case you're interested in who I am and what I do.

 

I'm a Cornish kid - born in Truro England, and raised in various parts of the US. I took piano lessons in Georgia, violin and voice lessons in Wisconsin, and taught myself (incorrectly) to play guitar in Washington. I've had some writing published, released a few albums, and have been thrilled to work on a number of my friends' authentically delicious musical releases in capacities ranging from coffee-maker to mastering engineer.  In short - I love to create, and making sounds that are new yet familiar is one of my favorite ways of contributing to the world.

 

My studio is Sleepy Owl Soundlab, based in Vancouver Washington, and is a friendly little hybrid setup with a workflow that feels great and sounds even better. My latest release, Everyday Thinking, was created almost exclusively here, and there are a number of projects in flight that will delight your ears upon completion, too.  I've also had a little success in messing around with guitar pedals on video, and incorporating those effects in my live sets is a huge part of my sound.

Speaking of which - somewhat recently, I left behind a job as a software analyst to immerse myself in making music full-time. If you're in the Pacific Northwest, you can find me and my acoustic guitars at a number of the region's wineries, venues, and concert spaces.
